This is a collection of pieces that I am currently working on or have finished. I love both writing and painting and being able to grow my skills as a creator and combining the two has changed my life. I picked up painting in August of 2021. At that time, I was in one of the worst depressive episodes in my life and in a defeated attempt to find better coping strategies I decided to go to the Dollar Tree. I got 3 canvases, cheap paint and a few brushes. I’ve loved getting to remember my inner child, and I feel her present with a paintbrush in my hand. I’m so excited to see how I continue to learn & progress.
